Matched resistor network offers great matching specifications over temperature range

Analog Devices LT5401 Matched Resistor Network is optimised for usage with fully differential or difference amplifiers. The device provides great matching specifications over the whole temperature range. The device comprises two strings of matched resistors, each giving three tap points. The resulting matched ratios are ideal for accurately setting a differential amplifier’s gain or attenuation.

The Matched Resistor Network can be employed to configure differential or difference gain by matching ratio, assuring high CMRR, low gain errors, and low gain drift to levels far too hard to accomplish with discrete passive components. This high level of precision decreases calibration demands in many applications and provides ten times higher performance than a ±0.01% discrete solution.

The device is offered in a compact 10-lead MSOP package with an exposed paddle. This is for improved thermal performance over a temperature range of –55C to 150C.

Typical applications include fully differential amplifiers, difference amplifiers, reference dividers, and precision summing/subtracting.
