Photoelectric sensor for use on any conveyor line width

The Omron E3AS-F Photoelectric Sensor Reflective has a wide sensing distance of 50 to 1,500mm, facilitating use on any conveyor line width. The sensors are available now from RS Components.

These TOF-type sensors can be used with any type of conveyed workpiece, and the compact-sized body can be mounted anywhere. The teaching method enables anyone to set optimal threshold values. The device is manufactured using the company's proprietary laser sealing method. Antifouling coatings decrease the cleaning frequency on the sensing surface. The IO-Link decreases the time needed for startups and changeovers and equipped with the company's proprietary light-emitting element for stable detection of low-reflective workpieces.

The sensors have an IP Rating of IP67, IP67G, and IP69K. The Operating Temperature ranges from -20C to +55C.
