Flash memory chip for automotive and network communications applications

Cypress Semiconductor NOR Flash Memory, available now from RS Components is a non-volatile storage solution that integrates safety features for automotive and industrial systems.

The device's EnduraFlex Architecture offers partition memory to provide up to 25 years of data retention, and one+ million program/erase cycles endurance. The device is JEDEC xSPI compatible and provides Data Integrity Check and Interface CRC. Providing certification to ISO 26262 ASIL B Compliance and is ISO 26262 ASIL-D ready. The device also provides single error correction and double error detection with SafeBoot.

Applications include automotive instrument clusters, ADAS, and networking communications.
