Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) are employed to guard personnel and sensitive equipment against hazardous transient voltages. Bourns GDTs are utilised in primary and secondary applications and can endure multiple applications of high surge currents energy over 25KA. These devices are available now from TTI Europe.

The company provides standard 8mm GDTs and a 5mm mini-series GDT in two and three-electrode versions offering long service life and low capacitance and insertion loss. A high voltage series, a high current series, and a fast-acting series are available.
