IR thermometer measures a wide temperature range

The Extech 42545 high-temperature IR thermometer, available now from RS Components, measures up to 1832F with 50 to one distance to target ratio with a laser pointer to identify the target area. This device is supplied with large backlit display for taking measurements at night or in areas with low background light levels. The device is also supplied with a 9V battery and hard carrying case.

The high 50 to 1 distance to target ratio measures smaller surface areas at greater distances. The adjustable high/low alarm alerts user visually and audibly when the temperature exceeds programmed limits. The device features a wide temperature range from 58F to 1832F (-50C to 1000C). The adjustable emissivity gives better accuracy on different surfaces.
