SAR ADCs work over a wide power-supply voltage range

05-05-2020 | Texas Instruments | Power

Texas Instruments ADS8355 two-channel simultaneous-sampling SAR ADCs are high-speed devices that support single-ended and pseudo-differential analog inputs. The ADCs provide a flexible serial interface that can work over a wide power-supply voltage range. The flexible interface provides for easy communication with a broad variety of host controllers. The SAR ADCs employ two low-power modes, optimising power consumption for any given throughput.

The devices are fully specified over the extended industrial temperature range (–40C to +125C) and are offered in a 16-pin WQFN (3mm x 3mm) package.

Typical applications include servo drive position feedback, optical modules, multifunction relays, power quality analysers, three-phase UPS, and analog input modules.
