MYIR Tech MCZU3EG4E4D1CISP Vision Edge Computing Platform Starter Kit, available now from Mouser, offers an image processing solution for computer vision development based on Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ ZU3EG MPSoC. This MPSoC provides a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit application processor, a 600MHz dual-core real-time ARM Cortex-R5 processor, a Mali400 embedded GPU, and rich FPGA fabric.
The kit includes a development board and necessary cable accessories to assist users in starting their development quickly. The development board supports 4K video at 30fps through the built-in ISP core and can achieve ultra-low delay video transmission at a maximum of 0.7ms. The video inputs support Bayer, YCbCr, and RGB formats, satisfying the demands of a high frame rate and high-resolution image acquisition. The image can be transferred by a diversified image output interface which includes HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB 3.0. The integrated GigE vision IP core includes Machine Vision GenICam V2.4.0 standard and user-defined XML files. The USB3 vision IP core also satisfies the industrial machine vision standard.
The dev board comprises a CPU Module with installed active heatsink, baseboard, and a SONY imx334 4K Sensor. The board is installed on the rear of the baseboard and connected to the MIPI-CSI interface by an FPC cable. The built-in ISP core of the board has a wide array of image processing abilities. These features incorporate intelligent noise reduction effect, digital WDR function, and super 3D denoise technology that accurately restores information from ultra-low illuminance.
Typical applications include light navigation, defence construction, secure solutions, networking, cloud computing security, data centre, machine vision, and edical endoscopy.
