New generation of modular connectors cut costs

Created to cut assembly and maintenance costs to the minimum, the new CombiTac direqt family of modular connectors from Stäubli features a Click-and-Connect system that allows all parts to be swiftly assembled manually with no need for any special tools.

With a light, modern design, including the highest level of safety features, they can be entirely customised to satisfy customer demands. Each carrier and frame is coded, excluding any possibility of an assembly error or incorrect polarity mating connecting male and female connectors.

All configurations, for panel mount or housing applications, assure a constant and secure connection for signals, power and pneumatic coupling for up to 10,000 mating cycles.

Medium and high current contacts up to 350A are available, allowing IP2X protection on the male and female side, along with leakage-free pneumatic couplings (15 bar).

The connectors are ideal for a broad range of applications in general industry, automation, automotive manufacturing and testing, medical and healthcare, rail, transport and logistics.
