Fanless intelligent power supply on modular platform uses advanced energy

The Excelsys CoolX1000 modular power supply, available now from TTI Europe, provides up to 1000W in a compact U-channel, 254mm x 165mm x 39.1mm design. The device offers up to 1000W with no requirement for fan or base plate cooling, removing acoustic noise detrimental to scientific and medical applications, as well applications sensitive to vibration or where fan cooling is not available. The device also provides increased flexibility by enabling system designers to monitor and control power supply performance via analog or digital communications (PMBus).

The device is certified to IEC60950 2nd edition for industrial applications as well as the forthcoming IEC62368-1 standard. The CX10M carries IEC60601-1 3rd edition & IEC60601-1-2 4th edition (EMC) for medical applications. The device can be populated with up to six CoolMods, providing up to 12 isolated DC outputs ranging from 2.5V to 58V.

The device is excellent for medical, industrial and hi rel applications.
