Raltron has designed what is claimed to be the smallest SMD oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) available on the market. At just 9mm x 7mm, the OX7000 Series is intended for applications that need ultra-small size and superior temperature stability. This incorporates all aspects of 5G wireless infrastructure, transmission, precision instrumentation, utility metering infrastructure, broadcasting, and more.
The series covers a frequency range from 5MHz to 40MHZ with a power supply voltage of 3.3V at 150mA steady state. The series OCXO combines ultra-small size with ultra-reliable frequency stability of +/-10ppb.
“Built to support customer demands, the OX7000 Series delivers superior performance in a miniature package. Ensuring minimal frequency deviations after reflow, the high stability OCXO is ideal for low-frequency wireless and RF applications that require low noise,” said Ross Weiss, VP sales at Raltron.
Supplied in a hermetically sealed package for enhanced reliability, the series provides a quick warm-up time of three minutes, a low phase noise of -158dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and HCMOS output levels.
