New range of low-cost DIN rail mount AC/DC power supplies

XP Power has released three new series of DIN rail mount AC/DC power supplies providing a compact, low profile and low-cost DIN rail solution for industrial electronics and controls and building management applications. The DRC30, DRC60 and DRC100 offer power levels of 30W, 60W and 100W in a simple to integrate and lightweight package.

Installation is fast and simple with screw terminals for input and output connections. For installations where there is a lengthy output cable run, a front panel adjuster allows the output voltage to be adjusted (approx. -10%/+15%) to compensate for any voltage drop. A ‘DC ON’ LED indicator provides a clear and instantaneous visual indication that the unit is functional for user convenience.

No additional filtering is needed for EMC compliance, saving cost, space, and time as DRC DIN rail power supplies are certified to EN55032 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions. All of the units offer input and output protection.

For convenience and the broadest possible applicability, the units can be powered from AC (85 to 264VAC) or DC (120 to 370VDC) and from -40C to +70C with derating at the extremes of the temperature range. They provide typical efficiencies up to 91% along with 4kV of input-output isolation. All series give DC outputs of 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V with an extra 5V version available in the 30W and 60W series.
