Skyworks has introduced the SKY59272-707LF, a single-pole, single-throw (4xSPST) switch developed for antenna tuning applications that need ultra-low OFF capacitance and low ON resistance.
This device provides exceptional performance and ultra-high linearity for smartphone applications working in the 5G, LTE or GSM band space, where high-performance aperture tuning is needed. Also, an integrated MIPI logic controller and 4xSPST topology offer the flexibility to tune multiple bands on a single antenna, which is optimal for carrier aggregation and dual connectivity.
No external DC blocking capacitors are needed as long as no DC voltage is applied on any RF path. The switch is offered in a compact 12-pin, 1.6mm x 1.6mm x 0.45mm (typical) QFN that satisfies needs for board-level assembly.
