Standard-setting industrial single pair Ethernet products

Mouser now stocks T1 Industrial single pair Ethernet (SPE) products from Harting. Chosen by the IEC as the standardised SPE mating face (IEC 63171-6), the company's innovative T1 Industrial products allow transmission of data through Ethernet employing just two wires and also provide simultaneous power supply for terminals using PoDL.

These SPE products permit barrier-free connection of sensors, equipment, and actuator technology into the field level employing end-to-end IP-based communications, providing new space and power efficiencies for a variety of industrial and communications applications. The products provide a robust industrial design with locking lever protection, high mating cycles, and 360-degree shielding. As well as the IEC 63171-6 standardised mating face, these products also satisfy cabling standards according to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA 42.

The new devices support the building of future-proof SPE communication networks, while also offering remote power supply for all PoDL classes. These SPE products ease parameter setting, initialisation, and programming of communication networks, while at the same time improving the efficiency of equipment set-up, operation, and maintenance.
