OKW’s DIATEC low profile plastic enclosures for wall-mount and desktop electronics are now provided in four sizes. The enclosure is perfect for network and communications equipment in living and working environments. Ideal applications include computer peripherals, IoT/IIoT, gateways, data collection, data systems engineering, measurement and control, security and access control, medical and laboratory technology.
These smart, modern enclosures offer a central control panel for mounting a touchscreen, keypad or display. There is a recessed area for installing and protecting interfaces, plug-in connectors and cable glands. Knockouts in the base allow simple wall mounting with no visible fixings.
The enclosures are available in two-piece (size XS) or four-piece construction (sizes S, M, L). Size XS includes top and bottom sections that are screwed together. There is an integrated battery holder (2 x AA).
Sizes S, M and L each provide a top and bottom plus two snap-on covers to hide the assembly screws. These covers can be locked to stop tampering. The integrated battery compartment can house 1 x 9V or 2 x AA cells.
The four sizes range from 150mm x 37mm x 155mm to 330mm x 48mm x 200mm. The enclosures are moulded from ABS (UL 94 HB) in a selection of two standard colours: off-white (RAL 9002) or lava grey.
Options and accessories comprise hinged lids (opaque ABS, clear or translucent polycarbonate), slot-in panels to separate the electronics and terminal areas, battery clips, a 9V plug-in contact, wall suspension elements, anti-slide feet for desktop use, self-tapping screws for PCBs and a Torx T10 assembly screwdriver.
