Binder has released its M12-A-coded connector product range. The company offers two new M12-A versions, which extend its Series 763.
The M12-A segment comprises hundreds of different solutions now supplemented with two new rectangular flange versions.
The product range growth for the rectangular flange code-positioning connectors comprises another stranded-wire version with a new 26mm rectangular housing and a version with solder contacts. The new 26mm rectangular housing employs the same drilling template as the M16 rectangular flange connector. In this way, it is achievable to switch to M12 without altering the existing housing.
For simple and reliable installation, the company is relying on a two-part approach comprising the housing and the contact holder. With this, the coding nose of the contact holder can be set in increments of 45 degrees. With a user-friendly installation and sealing concept, the new versions meet IP68, even without a defined tightening torque. As well as sealing, the rectangular flange connectors are temperature-resistant across a range of -40C to +85C.
The M12-A positioning rectangular flange connectors are offered with 4, 5 and 8 pins in the stranded-wire version with a 20mm or 26mm rectangular housing. They are also offered in a solder version with a 20mm rectangular housing.
