Smiths Interconnect L Series Connectors, available now from TTI Europe, are high density, modular, rack and panel connectors that incorporate coax and high current contacts up to 200A. The series is employed in highly demanding applications where the environment needs durability, ruggedisation and extended operating life.

Employing Hypertac hyperboloid contact technology the interconnects provide high mating cycles (up to 100,000) together with low insertion and extraction mating forces, as well as excellent immunity to shock and vibration. This modular building block system allows for custom connectors with large numbers of contacts to be configured into a single frame. Consequently, the user can select and customise the connector to satisfy the exact necessities with off the shelf components and shortened lead times.
