Configurable AC/DC power supply offers intelligent digital power

Components Bureau now offer Advanced Energy’s Excelsys CoolX3000 series. The new small sized configurable power supply provides an incredible 3000W in a small package of 300mm x 131mm x 120mm, satisfying the demand for smaller power supplies giving the same power but in a smaller footprint.

The series provides an impressive 24 outputs; all outputs are isolated (1850VAC) and the power supply has PMBus digital communications for monitoring and control capability. Highlights include plug and play power along with series and parallel outputs for higher voltage and currents.

The new series provides up to 91% efficiency with variable fan speed control. It has level four input surge protection with an MTBF of 150,000 hours and comes with a five-year warranty. With an Input voltage range of 180VAC to 264VAC (300VAC for 5secs), output voltage of 1V to 696V and ripple and noise 1% of nominal.

Operating temperature range -25C to +60C with an interface of eight-way connector, voltage control via potentiometer.
