Amphenol RF has expanded the fixed-length cable assembly product line to incorporate additional RP-SMA connector configurations. These new cable assemblies provide the popular RG-174 and RG-316 flexible cables and join the strong offering of earlier released RG-58 options. Straight plug and bulkhead jack configurations are offered in several standard lengths from 6" to 2m. They are excellent for a broad range of test and measurement applications.
These cable assemblies employ high-performance industry-standard RP-SMA connectors manufactured utilising gold plated, brass bodies. Plugs provide gold-plated female contacts machined from beryllium copper. Jacks offer gold-plated male contacts machined from brass. Enduring underplating of high phosphorus nickel assures the connectors support a minimum of 500 mating cycles.
The RP-SMA assemblies support frequencies through 6GHz and provide the same features and benefits of the conventional SMA connector comprising the threaded coupling mechanism. All cable assemblies are tested individually to assure the highest quality standards. Custom lengths are offered on request.
