500W open frame baseplate-cooled power for critical medical applications

Components Bureau has added the Cincon CFM500M with PFC new series to its range of medical power supplies. The new baseplate cooled power supply provides an efficiency up to 94.5%.

The device is provided in compact 3” x 5” size, with a wide operating temperature range of -40C to 85C and approved to EN 60601-1, ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 and 2MOPP making it ideal for crucial applications in the medical arena.

Five models are offered from 12V to 48V. Fan-cooled, convection and covered ratings are all available for greater flexibility. The new series provides universal input range 80-264VAC, no load power consumption, low inrush current and high-power density up to 20.96W/Inch3. The device features include power good and power fail signal with PS on/off remote control.
