With its WA-SMCH (Surface Mounted Cable Holder), Würth Elektronik now offers an innovative, space-saving alternative for PCB-mounted, bonded or snapped cable holders meant to accommodate cable ties. The automatically mountable and solderable holder constructed of tin-plated phosphor bronze provides a very stable fastening solution with a holding force up to 370N. Cables or cable ties can be routed crosswise or lengthwise through the 10mm x 6mm x 2mm component.
Consequent manual placement of individual components in surface mounted manufactured assemblies needs further processes and, therefore, creates error risks and extra costs. This is where the cable holder developed by the company comes into its own with a lean and elegant solution and removes extra processes and costs in production.
The device is available from stock without a minimum order quantity. For small quantities, the company provides a re-reeling service and also provides developers with free samples on request.
