Delta has begun to equip its CliQ M Series Power Supplies with its new DC-UPS and battery modules for uninterruptible systems. All matched together, the series power supplies and modules are set to lessen production downtime throughout power failures.
The three new DC-UPS modules for the series provide various output currents of 10A (DRU-24V10AMN), 20A (DRU-24V20AMN) and 40A (DRU-24V40AMN), and a wide input voltage range from 18-30VDC. They can support a battery charge at 18VDC and a 150% power boost function in 24V systems. Also, the charging current (optional) and the buffering time are selectable depending on user requirements.
The battery module (DRN-24V7AAEN) is created to support 2 x 12V 7.2AH lead-acid batteries for 24V system as backup power. The battery module provides a built-in battery voltage indicator to simply monitor the battery status throughout operation.
Over-temperature protection is provided when utilising the battery module together with the DC-UPS modules. The combination also increases battery life and makes a more reliable power solution for uninterruptible systems in an extensive range of applications, including industrial automation, factory automation, machine automation, and more.
