BCL Enclosures offers a new BEDSS Stainless Steel Series of lockable, solid door enclosures are specifically created to offer high-quality, secure, cost-effective protection for specialist and demanding electronic and electrical installations. The series is IP66 rated to shield contents against water and dust and can withstand impact to IK10 specifications and extremes of temperature between -20C and +55C.
The rugged enclosures range is constructed from grade 304 stainless steel as standard, with marine grade 316 stainless steel available on request. They are supplied as a complete kit incorporating a metal lock and key and a 2mm galvanised steel back mounting plate with spacers. Another advantage is that enclosures are supplied with an earth strap pre-wired and fitted between the door and the housing to save precious installation time.
The range offers an excellent solution for protecting delicate components in environments that demand extremely high standards of security and cleanliness.
This comprehensive range is available in six different sizes, ranging from 300mm high x 200mm wide x 150mm deep to 500mm high x 500mm wide x 200mm deep, offering installers a comprehensive choice capable of accommodating most applications.
Suitable applications for the enclosures include corrosive environments, such as those found in the chemical and petrochemical industries, plus environments where strict hygiene is required, for example, the agro-food sector.
