Wired Ethernet connectivity at the edge for industrial communication

Specially created for harsh industrial environments is Kontron‘s KSwitch product family, available now from Rutronik24. The range represents a new generation of industrial-strength Ethernet switches (Fast, Gigabit or even future 10G Gigabit) for wired Ethernet connectivity at the edge. Eleven different series allow a broad range of configurations for multiple fields of application, including industrial automation, IIoT, infrastructure and communication. The modern single-chip design blends reliability and cost efficiency with a plus in performance, decreased power consumption and smaller size.

The series provides various product configurations from rack to DIN rail mounting, with or without PoE injection, cost-effective unmanaged solutions, and switches managed through a web interface.

All models can be employed in industrial environments with a high-temperature range. The standard RJ45 connectors and SFPs simplify the selection and usage of cables and fibre optics.
