C&K offers a new snap switch – the SL Series sealed interlock switch. The IP67-rated switch was created for harsh environments often seen in food and beverage, and industrial applications. Supporting indoor and outdoor applications, the IP67-rated potted version arrives with a 12" wire harness. The company also provides the series in a dust-tight version (quick connect terminal) compatible with a quick-connect female terminal.
The switch can be employed at low or high-power current up to 10A and is offered for AC or DC voltage applications. A flexible plunger design permits the switch to be integrated into custom applications. The sealed interlock door switch is an adaptable switch with a wide range of applications and can be seamlessly combined into custom designs.
The series is perfect for applications like pressure fryers and PV string converters (photovoltaic) exposed to harsh environments.
"The SL is a ruggedised design for door detect applications (harsh environments) where the customer does not need complex electronics during the integration," said JeanCarlo Contreras, global product manager at C&K.
