Connectors approved for use on ECUs and more with high reliability

Lane Motorsport has been appointed a motorsport specialist distributor for the M series and F series connectors from LEMO.

LEMO is a leader in designing and manufacturing precision high-performance connection solutions for motorsport. The M series will complement the existing =Eaton 8STA franchise with high-density contacts up to 114-ways or 66-way mixed power contacts in the largest shell size 5. The FIA approved the M series to be used on ECU's and more due to their high reliability. The F series is the push-pull series and is again used mainly in the small sizes in motorsport for weight saving and high density of the contact system.

Nick Wheeler, sales director of Lane Electronics, says: "We are looking forward to driving LEMO connectors forward in the motorsport industry in a number of applications in cars, motorcycles and boats."
