Mach-D connectors with superior EMI shielding for harsh environments

Now available through Powell Electronics are Mach-D high-performance D-Sub connectors from Positronic. Intended for use in extreme environments needing robust performance and reliability, the devices are constructed with precision machined shells that offer excellent EMI shielding and robustness. Mach-D connectors are offered with standard density contacts (MCD series), high-density signal contact arrangements (MCDD series) and hybrid versions (MCBX series), which combine power and signal in a single connector body. A wide range of accessories are also offered.

The excellent design and manufacturing process provides very high quality and reliability. The connectors also profit from integrated hardware eradicating unintentional disassembly, banding options on the rear shell, shell-to-shell grounding strips, shell-to-backshell grounding strips, IP67 sealing options, rear grommets and 36-position keyed jackscrews for mechanical keying between otherwise like connectors. These devices meet or exceed all M24308 Group B testing requirements.
