New capacitive touch anti-vandal pushbuttons available in four sizes

Omni Pro Electronics offers the new TH Series of Switches from CIT Relay and Switch. The TH Capacitive Touch Anti-Vandal switch is supplied in 16mm, 19mm, 22mm or 25mm and offers 30-Second Hold, Momentary Switch or Latching Switch mounting options.

The capacitive touch series is ideal for vending machines, traffic controls, gated community guard houses, appliances, industrial controls, and infotainment centres.

The series is offered with an illuminated flush actuator with two ring-size options, each with a brushed stainless-steel finish. The actuator is constructed of stainless steel with a polycarbonate LED Lens. The 16mm and 19mm versions are supplied with a thick illuminated ring, the 25mm with a thick illuminated ring, and the 22mm in both styles. Most come with a standard bezel, the 16mm comes in a 4.5mm-high bezel.

LED colour and state options comprise single or dual LED with LED voltage choices of 5VDC, 12VDC or 24VDC and a maximum current of 15mA. Single LED colours offer red, orange, green, blue and white provided in 'Off/Color' and 'Color/Off' states. The Dual LED colours are created in red-green, red-blue, blue-green, white-orange, and reverse orders. Its dielectric strength is 250Vrms min between contacts with an insulation resistance of more than 10MOh min @ 600VDC and an operating temperature of -40C to 85C.
