Low dropout voltage regulator offers a space-saving design

02-03-2023 | Mouser Electronics | Industrial

The Nisshinbo Micro Devices NR1600 500mA Low Dropout Voltage Regulator, available now from Mouser, is CMOS-based, featuring a soft-start and PowerGood function. The device can use an external capacitor (CSS) to modify the soft-start time during startup, making it simple to suppress inrush current and alter the slew rate.

The regulator is housed in a 1.2mm x 1.2mm x 0.4mm small DFN1212-6-GK package and is ideal for system space saving.

Typical power source applications include battery-powered equipment, electrical home appliances, and portable communication equipment.
