Showcasing contactless industrial wireless charging for AGVs

Wiferion, part of PULS Wireless, provides contactless industrial wireless charging of lithium batteries for AGV, AMR/CoBot, and industrial trucks. At this year's Intralogistex, visitors will see a working wireless charging demonstration of this innovative charging system.

Using its innovative 'in-process charging', the inductive battery charging system allows the continuous operation of AGVs and AMRs, enabling the vehicles to be supplied with energy efficiently and fully automatically, without contact and without the vehicles having to interrupt their transport for charging breaks.

The system can charge an entire vehicle fleet with just one charging station, regardless of voltage, current, or battery type, and collect data on capacity, energy status, and much more. The chargers can be installed without major changes to building structures, providing an advantage to companies renting their warehouse or factory space.

Other PULS products on display include its FIEPOS decentralised power supplies with high protection classes to IP67, developed for flexible use directly in the field and DIN-Rail power supplies, including PISA-B and PISA-M electronic circuit breakers.
