EV fuse options expanded as global market grows

Bel Fuse Inc. is expanding its fuses for EV and HEV with a complete line of 800V offerings, complementing the company’s line of 500V and 1,000V fuses.

The fuses come in a variety of formats and mounting options and are suitable for operating temperatures between -40C to 100C with some products featuring a range of up to 125. Depending on the deployment use, the fuses also offer a wide range of current ratings, some as low as 5A and others as high as 800A.

Designed for use in battery modules, packs, junction boxes, chargers, stations, and auxiliary circuits, the fuses are being released to support the maturing EV market, particulary across Europe.
