Littelfuse, Inc., has announced the C&K Switches EL2 Series Tactile Switches. These standard-size, sealed SMT tactile switches are created for general-purpose switching applications and offer enhanced performance, higher component density, and improved reliability for various electronic devices.
The switches stand out due to their market-standard size designs, IP67 sealing, and versatility in various applications. With heights of 3.5mm and 5.2mm and actuation forces of 2 newtons for a light touch and 3.5 newtons for more firm pressure to activate the switch, the series ensures seamless integration into existing designs while providing exceptional contact reliability in dusty environments.
The switches ensure ease of integration into various applications and provide IP67 sealing with high contact reliability, protecting against dust and water ingress. Their J-Bend SMT package enables standard assembly mounting using typical pick-and-place machines. The switches are ideal for high-volume applications.
