Quiet and powerful axial cooling fans for heat pumps and condensers

Inelco Hunter now offers the three-blade AxiTone EC axial fan from EBM. Designed especially for use in air/water heat pumps or condensers, as well as in applications where flammable refrigerants are present, the fan also has optimised blade geometry, which makes them notably quiet.

The fans are supplied as a ready-to-install plug-and-play solution, including a nozzle plate and a FlowGrid, eradicating any concerns about nozzles or being installed a safe distance from the impeller. This signifies that there is no need to conduct your own ErP assessment.

Increasingly lower energy consumption is needed for devices for central residential ventilation and air conditioning, for switch cabinet cooling, and for use in heat pumps and air purifiers. The blade design enhances aerodynamics and lowers the power consumption.

The newly developed inverter electronics make the fans appropriate for speed-controlled permanent-magnet synchronous machines, which are commonly used in compressors, e.g. in heat pumps. The ebm-papst commutation method, which has been optimised over decades, considerably lowers noise development and, at the same time, increases efficiency.
