LTE-based IoT products saves development and certification costs

Rutronik now stocks the CMB100 series from Telit Cinterion, LTE-based IoT products for industry. The modules allow developers to benefit from lowered development and certification costs and from a shorter time to market thanks to pre-certification for end devices. Also, the components minimise the gap between prototyping and production. They score points with an extended operating temperature range (-30C to +75C), FOTA, 2G and 3G fallback and GNSS. As best-in-class 3GPP Release 10 platforms, they are ideal for (I)IoT applications.

The series features a unified design to support current and future LTE and 5G technologies, simplifying the integration of commercial and industrial devices. In addition, the modules eliminate the complexity and challenges of RF applications, positively impacting development times.

With the included CMB100 Rapid Development KIT 3990150771, developers get a flexible product development platform that allows rapid prototyping of unlimited IoT applications. The integrated MikroBUS interface enables seamless connection to over 1,500 Mikro Click Boards and supports a wide range of I/O, sensors, wireless modules and control technologies. Its customised yet simple baseboard design results in a lower BOM cost end product by preserving all firmware and embedded complexity on the host MCU.
