Advantech has introduced the new SKYRack L11 Rack Solution, designed to deliver high-performance, high-reliability integrated computing platforms for customers in semiconductors, healthcare, and smart factory industries. This launch aims to speed up digital transformation for industrial clients.

With the rapid growth in semiconductor production and increasingly sophisticated processes, the need for higher data processing performance has risen greatly. At the same time, limited space presents challenges for higher-density deployments. The company's L11 Rack Solution integrates computing, storage, and GPU capabilities with high performance, high-density design, and high reliability to satisfy diverse industrial needs, making it an excellent choice for intelligent manufacturing.

To meet the high-power cooling challenges posed by high-performance computing, the company has partnered with KEMMEC to develop thermal solutions. KEMMEC's CDU provides efficient heat dissipation without needing external chillers, achieving a cooling capacity of 12KW to 80KW per unit.

Magic Pao, AVP of Advantech Edge Server Group, commented: "Compared to traditional cooling technologies, this solution not only delivers superior performance but also effectively reduces energy consumption and noise while ensuring easier maintenance, significantly enhancing operational stability. Our collaboration with KEMMEC makes the L11 rack an ideal solution for rapid deployment and stable operation, helping clients build a more reliable computing environment."

Shawn Huang, VP of KEMMEC Cooling Solution, added, "Advantech's industrial-grade servers provide high performance and reliability for clients in increasingly precise technological fields. Through this partnership, we are offering better solutions to meet diverse industry needs. KEMMEC has already launched several projects in domestic and international data centres. In the future, our collaboration with Advantech will not only focus on product development but also leverage both parties' strengths to create a new AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) solution for end-user data centre customers. We have already completed the deployment of 480KW, 600KW, and 1400KW water-cooled products in the overseas AIDC market and integrated Red Fish architecture into the CDU. In order to provide more R&D resources for client collaboration, KEMMEC has recruited three PhD experts in the fields of servers and thermal solutions to enhance our R&D capabilities, offering water-cooled data centre solutions to Advantech and other server clients."

In semiconductor manufacturing, yield stability and rapid adoption of new process technologies are critical. The solution is designed to meet Copy Exactly standards, offering at least a two-year product warranty and up to five years of long-term supply assurance. Strict version control is applied to key components of the host system, providing stable hardware operation.

The company's industrial-grade design supports the rigorous demands of 24/7 high-load operation in semiconductor plants, meeting stringent industry standards for high utilisation and low failure rates. Also, the SKYRack rack complies with SEMI S2, S8, and S15 semiconductor specifications, ensuring international safety and performance standards.

The company is expanding its system integration services globally. It has already successfully launched assembly services for the L10 system in the U.S., China, Taiwan, and the Netherlands. Future plans include assembly, integration, testing, and pre-configuration services for the L11 cabinet.

Employing the company's hardware expertise in edge computing and AI software integration, SKYRack provides diverse smart application solutions. By collaborating deeply with clients and global ecosystem partners, it is committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive business upgrades and transformation.
