Binder’s extensive product portfolio offers a circular connector series for numerous industrial application sectors. With a new accessory, it can improve two of its circular connector series with enhanced security and safety as demanded by a variety of applications. With new locking clips, the company meets the expanding demand in the snap-in segment.
The Binder 620 and 720 Series are subminiature and miniature connectors intended for use in automation engineering and medical applications where there is an increasing demand for fast-acting mating and other mating options.
These snap-in connectors have always provided a secure and reliable connection for traditional applications. However, the new locking clips are created for use where pronounced physical stress is present. An example is a stress due to cable tension. Equally important are applications where the connections cannot, under any conditions, be interrupted either by unintentional or even unauthorised loosening. Examples include suspended lights like those in streetlights, cable extensions in cable ducts as well as safety testing where users require reliable protection against accidental or malicious separation of the connection.
The locking clips feature three snap-in lugs, which offer the user an audible click when latched. For simple use, connecting and disconnecting is readily possible utilising one hand. For even more security, the locking clips may be fastened employing cable ties, and importantly, the new accessory can be reused several times. The clips are offered in black or white versions for clearer identification of the installation or to match a corporate identity or conform to the environment.
