Intelligent IoT I/O gateways deliver an all-in-one device

Advantech, a global leader in Industrial IoT, announce the availability of its ADAM-6700 WISE-EdgeLink series. Adam-6700 is an IoT I/O gateway with comprehensive functions, including onboard I/O support and RS-485/Ethernet interface. It is an all-in-one device that integrates OT and IT data and saves cost, space, and engineering effort with the help of WISE-EdgeLink gateway software.

The Adam-6700 is quick to set up and configure and includes built-in IoT Gateway Software - WISE-EdgeLink. It offers lightweight, cross-platform, edge-computing middleware and is a hub for connectivity, protocol conversion, data logger, alarms and open API. It provides seamless integration to multiple cloud platforms and third-party systems and runs on common OS such as Linux and Windows.

The solution features a multiple onboard IoT I/O Gateway permitting users to collect Assets and OT Data with wired and wireless connectivity.

The onboard I/O may be used for analog inputs like speed, humidity, and temperature. It supplies digital information for limit switches and pushbuttons. The digital output provides light switches, alarms, and buzzers and has an SSR relay output.

The device features 2 x RS-485/Ethernet Interfaces for connecting to ADAM I/O modules, power meters, and PLCs. Customers can access the IoT Academy to discover the full potential of intelligent IoT I/O gateways.
