Mouser now stocks the IIM-20670 MotionTracking MEMS device from TDK InvenSense. The device is a robust SmartIndustrial six-axis IMU for tilt and stabilization applications. The device supports industrial applications requiring extreme temperature stability and strong vibration immunity. The device is ideal for industrial automation, 5G platforms, robotics, and industrial and agricultural drones.

The device comprises a monolithic six-axis IMU, a three-axis accelerometer, and a three-axis gyroscope. It offers impressive shock robustness and the ability to measure all six axes simultaneously while maintaining current consumption below 10mA under all operating conditions. The device provides programmable digital filters and a 10MHz SPI interface to assess data integrity using a CRC-based error-detecting code algorithm.

The device provides an accelerometer thermal stability of 1.7µg/C, accelerometer bias repeatability of 1mg, and a programmable output of 64G. The new MEMS device is RoHS and Green compliant and is housed in a compact 4.5mm x 4.5mm x 1.1mm DQFN package, ideal for space-constrained applications.

The DK-20670 development kit, also available, is a demonstration and evaluation platform for the IIM-20670 MotionTracking MEMS device. The kit provides an example application circuit, enabling rapid prototyping when included in existing designs.
