Multi-port connector blocks offer high-density RF connections in harsh environments

Fairview Microwave has released its VITA 67 multi-port connector blocks. The devices are created to supply high-density RF connections in demanding environments while minimising space necessities, weight and expenses.

The multi-port connector blocks are engineered for side-by-side implementation with VITA 46 hardware. They are compatible with 0.086" and smaller diameter coaxial cables, making them ideal for aerospace and defence applications.

The unique SV connector retention mechanism of the VITA 67 multi-port connector blocks provide notable ease of assembly and disassembly of the daughter card module over similar designs. Also, these connectors can withstand many flexures directly behind the connectors with no weakening or deteriorating.

The connector blocks also use existing and proven SMPM interfaces, providing substantial compatibility, reliability and cost-effectiveness advantages.
