New 18U outdoor floor cabinet keeps equipment cool and dry

Transtector now offers a new 18U outdoor floor cabinet for standard EIA 19 "-wide components. The IP66-rated 18U outdoor floor cabinet has a built-in cooling system with automatic temperature control. Its depth fits most components but remains compact. The features are topped off with a modern white finish.

The cabinet is ideal for varied applications such as wireless networks, CCTV, traffic control, broadband, and telecommunications.

The 18U floor-standing cabinet is rugged and ready for the outdoors. It is made of heavy-duty, 14-gauge cold-rolled steel and holds up to 220lbs of equipment. Its IP66 rating means the insides are protected from water, dust and other contaminants. They are also safe from heat build-up, thanks to the built-in 120VAC, 10A fans with a temperature control that permits flow-through ventilation to limit network slowdowns due to overheating.

The cabinet size is roomy yet compact enough to be unobtrusive outdoors or in small rooms and IT closets. Its adjustable rack depth ranges from 6" to 24" (600mm), allowing it to hold various components.

The outdoor floor cabinet has key locks for security. Gear is mounted using M6 screws and cage nuts. It comes pre-assembled.
