New UPS for home and small business users

Eaton had launched its latest power protection solution: the 3P Ellipse UPS. Sleek, attractively designed, and silent in operation, this compact unit delivers excellent user experience in backup power for work and play in residential and small business settings, including point-of-sale applications.

Delivering a typical runtime of 15-20 minutes, the UPS features up to 12% power increase over the Eaton Ellipse ECO UPS. This indicates that it can protect more applications for a broader range of devices, from home entertainment systems to high-performance personal computers. Plug outlets include FR, DIN/IT and IEC options – a wide option in a largely IEC-dominated marketplace – together with four outlets for 550VA-900VA and eight outlets for 1300VA-1700VA, making for straightforward adaptability in different territories.

Eaton product manager Stephane Lacroix said, “With remote working now ‘the new normal’, easy cloud connection via optional CLOUD-PS card is an especially compelling feature for business applications. This transforms Eaton 3P Ellipse into a remote monitoring UPS by enabling seamless, real-time access to status and notifications via mobile app or web browser.”

The flexible, multi-position design enables the UPS to fit seamlessly into any setting – horizontally, vertically, and rack or wall-mounted (using optional kits).
