Pluggable connectors offer high current capacity for factory automation and robotics

Mouser now stocks the Dynamic D8000 pluggable connectors from TE Connectivity. The connectors provide high current capacity, including 1000VDC rated voltage, 3000VAC withstand voltage and 100A current per pin. These reliable, high-performance connectors support various applications, including battery management systems, battery test equipment, factory automation and robotics.

The connectors are offered as wire-to-wire and wire-to-board modules with two-position construction. The pluggable connectors utilise an audible lock design to provide safe and reliable locking while crimping contacts save valuable assembly time for device designers.

The connectors provide 58N per-pin mating and unmating forces, offering silver plating on the mating surface with polybutylene terephthalate and high-temperature nylon housing. The robust connectors also offer >98N contact retention force in the housing. This series is vibration and shock proof, assuring an extended service life.
