Allowing users to add components to, or replace components on, any substrate
such as a printed circuit board, Schmartboard's SchmartPatch is now
available from Mouser.
The SchmartPatch board allows users to cut off an appropriate pad, stick it
on to the surface (with the adhesive already on the back of the
SchmartPatch) and then solder a component onto the SchmartPatch. There are
also pads to solder jumper wires to make the electrical connection. The
board has 10 pads that can be cut off as needed for prototyping, repair,
development and maintenance needs.
