Large fan range offers flexibility and high environmental protection

Aerco now supplies the high-power, high-quality range of HPLC AC and DC large equipment fans from Qualtek. Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the FDA2 AC series and FDD1 DC series are offered protected to IP54 as standard and are also available in IP56 rated versions for particularly harsh environmental conditions. The FDA2 uses a thermally protected AC external rotor, capacitor induction motor while the FDD1 employs an IC protected brushless DC motor. Both use a long-life two ball bearing system, an aluminium alloy frame and a one-piece forged steel impeller. Both can also be supplied with an optional UL94V-0 plastic impeller for increased airflow and a 100,000-hour bearing option. The Qualtek range offers a wide variety of bearing types, sizes and fan speeds. AC fans are available from 115 to 230VAC in sizes from 60mm to 280mm while DC fans are available from 3.3 to 60VDC and sizes from 20mm to 280mm with a large array of functions and features including alarm, tachometer, and PWM configurations.
