An inexpensive comprehensive development board for the Piccolo F2806x
devices and InstaSPIN technology, the Texas Instruments' C2000 Piccolo
LaunchPad, LAUNCHXL-F28069M, is now available from Farnell element14.
The LaunchPad lets users quickly enter the world of motor control using the
InstaSPIN-MOTION or InstaSPIN-FOC solution. It is based on the Piccolo
TMS320F28069M with unique features such as 256KB of onboard flash, 12-bit
ADC, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, dual Encoder support and InstaSPIN libraries in
on-chip execute-only ROM memory.
It includes many board hardware features such as an integrated isolated
XDS100v2 JTAG emulator for easy programming and debugging. The LaunchPad
works with various BoosterPacks, but is specifically designed for the
BOOSTXL-DRV8301.
Besides JTAG emulation, the USB interface provides a UART serial connection
from the F2806x device to the host PC.
