Low-noise DC axial fans are highly energy-efficient

19-03-2015 | Farnell element14 | Subs & Systems

EBM Papst's new high-performance, low-noise DC axial fans are now available from Farnell element14. They are highly energy-efficient and come in a neat 40mm x 40mm x 28mm packages. They feature a very rigid compression curve for high air flow at high counter-pressure, with the fan operating counter-clockwise (viewing towards the rotor). The fans offer a long lifetime of 60,000 hours at 40C or 30,000 hours at the maximum ambient operating temperature (70C). PWM control input and speed signal come as standard, although other inputs and outputs are available on request, says the company.
