Tough power inductors operate to 150C

TDK-EPCOS B82464P4 range of surface-mount power inductors is now available from Farnell element14. The devices feature a magnetically-shielded ferrite core, enamel copper wire winding and an injection-moulded base. In addition to high mechanical stability and an ability to withstand temperatures up to +150C, they offer a high rated current and low DC resistance. The B82464P4 is suitable for lead-free reflow soldering, as referenced in JEDEC J-STD 020D, says the company.
