Surface-mount iso-attenuator provides dual solution for high-power circuit protection

RFMW now stocks the RF Circulator Isolator RFSL2308-A30 iso-attenuator which combines protection for active components from distortion or potentially damaging reflected power with a convenient, attenuated port for monitoring RF power or providing a feedback loop. The RFSL2308-A30 is capable of handling 1000W peak / 200W average forward power and 100W CW reverse power into the on-board, 30dB attenuator. Spanning 2200 to 2400MHz, the RFCI RFSL2308-A30 provides >25dB typical port-to-port isolation while typical insertion loss remains <0.25dB. Offered in a 25.4mm x 31.8mm x 9mm drop-in, tabbed package, the RFSL2308-A30 is a robust alternative to individual isolator / directional coupler designs, says the company.
