Kemet's through-hole ceramic capacitors for extreme environments and high
temperatures are now available through TTI. The high-temperature radial
moulded multilayer ceramic capacitors offer industry-leading performance in
extreme environments and high temperature operation up to 200C.
Available in C0G dielectric and X7R dielectric, the halogen-free capacitors
have been designed specifically to withstand the severe shock and vibration
conditions associated with deep-well and horizontal drilling activities, and
are also well-suited for use in geophysical probes, hybrid and electric
motor drives, aerospace engine compartments and defense applications. The
gold-plated lead wires of the components help withstand extreme temperatures
while the epoxy molded case provides environmental protection and mechanical
durability.
The capacitors benefit from a very wide operating temperature range of -55C
to +200C, low ESR and ESL and are fully RoHS and REACH compliant, says the
company.
