Designed for off-road vehicles and other noisy environments where a confirming 'click' is imperative, a series of fully-sealed, snap-acting pushbutton switch with strong tactile feedback has been unveiled by APEM. The IM series switch's high current rating and one million mechanical lifecycle performance make it ideal for harsh applications such as agriculture vehicles, material handling equipment, construction vehicles and defence ground equipment. The IM series, snap-acting pushbutton switches are sealed to IP67 and are rated for use in temperatures from -40C to +85C. This push button switch is suitable for low level switching and can also be used for higher power applications up to 3A 28VDC. The IM is UL approved at 2A 125VAC/250VAC. The IM is offered with a round or flat actuator in two height levels, in nine actuator colours and in a matte or shiny finish. The IM series is also available in a reduced bezel size for fitting into tight spaces. This product is offered with gold plated silver contacts and in straight PC or quick-connect terminals.
