27-04-2015 | Farnell element14 | Semiconductors

Analog Devices' ADUM315x/ADUM415x SPIsolator is now available from Farnell element14. The devices are dedicated serial peripheral interface (SPI) isolators that have a small footprint, simple design, high speed and high data integrity. The devices use proven iCoupler technology to increase performance and lower cost while reducing board space due to a single, compact form factor. This sets them apart from other digital isolator solutions such as optocouplers, says the company. Features include up to 80Mbps maximum data rate, up to 125C operating temperature, insulation rating of 3.75 - 5kV rms, and 14ns prop delay.
